Lin Xinye is an award-winning, multidimensional artist, designer, musician, and author who fuses ancient traditions with futuristic innovations. Her work integrates Chinese philosophy, multisensory design, and advanced technology, crafting immersive experiences that rejuvenate the mind, body, and soul.
With multiple fellowships from both China and the USA, Xinye earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Urban Planning in China before studying Furniture Design at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. She later obtained a Master’s in Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), one of the world’s top art and design institutions.
With 27 years of Guzheng experience, her artistic practice synthesizes music, chanting, meditation, and digital technology, transforming the concepts of Wuxing (Five Elements) and Yin-Yang into contemporary, multi-sensory art and design.
Rooted in traditional Chinese aesthetics, meditation, and multisensory engagement, her practice integrates music, parametric architectural design, and new media art, creating immersive experiences that blur the boundaries between the physical and metaphysical.

Guided by the ethos 'Where Art Meets Sensory Innovation,' the brand quickly gained recognition, securing a coveted place in RISDMade. Its debut luxury perfume balm, Nebula, exemplifies the brand’s commitment to crafting timeless, sensory experiences. Her design work, Wearable Culture Series, inspired by ancient Chinese calligraphy and Feng Shui, translates historical symbolism into contemporary wearable design and was also selected for RISDCraft 2024.
Xinye’s Book Artful Awakening: Multisensory Art & Meditation combines her global art exhibition experience to explore the intersection of mindfulness, art, Eastern culture, and philosophy. Popular in 15 countries, it is proudly housed in prestigious collections, including the RISD Library, San Mateo County Libraries, and Daly City Libraries, etc.
